CUTTING & SAWING SERVICES
When alternations in concrete are necessary,
we understand your concerns!
Cutting & Coring provides professional concrete cutting services in just about
any environment or setting. Read on for details:
Concrete Chain Sawing
With our Chain saws, we cut small openings up to 18" thick. It is used in conjunction with our
wall saw when over cuts are an issue. We have gas, propane, and hydraulic chain saws. This is an extremely versatile saw. Perfect for cutting openings in poured foundation walls. In this example, we are using the chainsaw to cut window openings in a 200-year old farmhouse,
without disturbing surrounding stone or foundation.
Concrete Slab Sawing
We have gas, propane, and electric slab or floor saws. When you
need new plumbing in an existing building, we cut out trenches
at whatever width necessary. We can remove the concrete in slabs
with a fork truck. When the plumber or electrician is finished with their work, we can come back in and re-pour the trenches.
When penetrations between floors for duct work or access ways
are needed, we are able to support the suspended load of
concrete while we make the cuts.
Concrete (Diamond) Wire Sawing
We use our wire saw for penetrations in hard to get places and where
concrete thickness exceeds what we can do with a wall saw. A wire saw works by
having a wire cable with diamond beads that travels across a series of pulleys
around or through the concrete being cut. When the drive pulley is engaged and
tension is kept, the cable moves at high speed, passing the diamond beads over
the concrete, producing a smooth clean cut at any depth or thickness.
Our Wire Saws operate by hydraulic, propane, or gas power.
Concrete Wall Sawing A wall saw is a track mounted saw. We have both
air and hydraulic powered units. We carry in stock blades to cut up to two feet
thick from one side, but our equipment is capable of much thicker penetrations.
The wall saw is used primarily for cutting openings as access ways such as bay
doors in existing concrete or stone structures. Our wall sawing equipment is
powered by gas, propane, or air. |
